The very hungry hound

Having a six-month-old puppy has its ups and downs and Nala seems to have settled into something of a routine. That routine involves charging around first thing in the morning and nibbling anything she can, then she has a nice rest in the middle of the day and then around 4pm she has another good charge around and some more nibbling. After all that energy she likes to chill out with her pack until bedtime.

So in the same vein as 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar', I give you
one very tired pup

'The Very Hungry Hound'.....

On Monday the Nalagator (half Nala, half alligator) ate one doormat, one toy skittle and one notebook, but she was still hungry.
On Tuesday the Nalagator ate one chew toy, one dog lead and nibbled one childs bottom, but she was still hungry.
On Wednesday, the Nalagator ate…. nothing as she was tired from all her mischief-making and the pack leader only gave her treats when she didn’t eat things.
On Thursday the Nalagator was full of mischief and ate three of her chew toys but she was still hungry.
On Friday the Nalagator ate one newspaper, one shopping bag and one washing up cloth but she was still hungry.
On Saturday the Nalagator ate sticks, some horse manure, one pork pie and two unicorn slippers but she was still hungry.
On Sunday she slept a lot because she was very tired from racing around in the woods but she was very happy and had a nice sleep with her favourite toy.

I wouldn't change her for the world.
